The Fish Farmer Pan-Fried-Mullet Fillet

Ingredients : 

- 1 280g packet The Fish Farmer Mullet, thawed

- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

- 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

- 2 tablespoons cooking oil

- Sambal balachan and half a large lime for serving (optional)

- Coriander for garnishing (optional)


Preparation : 

wash and pat dry the mullet fillets
marinate each mullet fillet with half a teaspoon salt and one-quarter teaspoon freshly ground black pepper. Leave for 15 minutes
heat up a non-stick pan and when smoking hot, put in the cooking oil and swirl it around the pan to coat it
place the mullet fillets skin side down
cook for 4 minutes or until the mullet fillets no longer stick to the pan. and the skiin is crispy Flip over and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes or till they do not stick to the pan and are nicely browned
plate the mullets and garnish with coriander (if using)
squeeze lime over sambal balachan (if using) and serve
